Updated on
Before you start
- Use an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari).
- Save your work: you'll need to sign in again after clearing the cache.
Where to find it
Browser settings › Privacy › Clear browsing data
Step by step
- Open Elooo CRM in a private/incognito window and sign in. If it's fast there, the problem is your browser cache or extensions.
- Clear the cache and site data:
- Chrome: type
chrome://settings/siteDatain the address bar and delete the Elooo CRM site data. - Edge: type
edge://settings/clearBrowserDataand clear cached images and files. - In other browsers, use the option to clear cookies and cache in the settings.
- Chrome: type
- Refresh the page and sign in again.
- If it's still slow, turn off all browser extensions (ad blockers, VPNs, translators…) and test again.
- Try another browser (for example Firefox if you use Chrome).
- Do a hard refresh: Ctrl + F5 on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac.
- If nothing works, open the page with the problem, right-click › Inspect › Console tab, take a screenshot of the errors and send it to Elooo CRM support.
When the page keeps loading forever
- If loading takes longer than about 30 seconds, a Click here to refresh option appears.
- Click it: the page reloads and the browser cache is cleared automatically.
- If that doesn't work, clear the site data manually: right-click › Inspect › Application tab › Storage › Clear site data; then click the padlock next to the address, remove the site's cookies and refresh the page.
Tips
- Keep few extensions enabled in the browser you use for Elooo CRM.
- Close tabs you're not using: lots of open pages make the browser slower.
Common problems
- It's only slow on one computer → The problem is that browser. Clear the cache, turn off extensions or use another browser.
- Fast in incognito, slow in a normal window → It's the cache or an extension. Clear the site data and turn extensions off one by one until you find the culprit.
- After clearing the cache it asks me to sign in → That's normal. Sign in again with your email and password.
- The page loads forever and no account appears → Your user may not have access to any account. Ask an admin to check your access in Settings › My Staff.
- Some parts don't load in Safari → It may be cross-site tracking prevention. See the article on allowing third-party cookies.
