How to create your online store on a website
Go to Sites › Store, click Complete Setup and follow the assistant, or open the website in the builder and drag a Store element (Cart, Collections List…) onto the page. The store is created with its 5 required pages; products come from Payments › Products.

Before you start
- You need access to Sites and Payments in your account.
- Have at least one product created in Payments › Products with Include in Online Store turned on.
- To accept payments, connect a payment provider (for example, Stripe) in Payments › Integrations. This step is always manual.
- To publish the store on your own address, you need a domain connected to the website.
Where to find it
Sites › Store › Complete Setup
Step by step
Option 1: use the guided assistant
- In the left menu, open Sites and click Store in the top bar.
- In the store setup banner, click Complete Setup.
- Pick the task you want to do, or work through the full setup by answering the assistant's questions.
- Review each confirmation request before the assistant creates or changes store data.
- You can stop and come back later: Sites › Store › Complete Setup picks up the remaining tasks.
- Connect the payment provider and handle the domain manually (the assistant can help connect a domain that already exists in the account, but it doesn't create new domains or configure payments).
Option 2: add the store to a website by hand
- Open the website in Sites › Websites and open the builder on the page where you want the store.
- Click Add element.
- Under the Store category, drag an element onto the page: Cart, Collections List or Featured Products. You can also use a pre-built store section.
- In the window that appears, choose:
- Add Store: creates the store and copies the design settings from the current page;
- Skip: creates the store without copying the page's theme.
- The store is created with 5 pages: Products List, Product Details, Cart, Checkout and Thank You. Customize each one like any other page.
- Save and publish the website.
Prepare your products
- Open Payments › Products.
- Create or open a product and fill in the name, description, images, price and variants (size, color…).
- Turn on Include in Online Store and save.
Tips
- The 5 store pages always stay together in the same order (list › details › cart › checkout › thank you). You can move the site's other pages before or after the group, but not in between.
- You can have more than one store in the same account.
- Orders show up in Payments › Orders and payments in Payments › Transactions.
Common problems
- The product doesn't show in the store → Open the product in Payments › Products and make sure Include in Online Store is turned on.
- Customers can't pay → A payment provider still needs to be connected in Payments › Integrations. The assistant doesn't do this step.
- I tried to move a page and it snapped back → Store pages can't be separated or reordered among themselves. The move is rejected and the saved order stays.
- I deleted one store page and others disappeared → Manually deleting a store page can remove the other pages of that store. To delete the whole store, use Delete Store (see below).
Frequently asked questions
How do I delete a store without losing the rest of the website?
In Sites › Store, open the store's three-dot menu (or Store Settings), choose Delete Store, type DELETE in the confirmation and click Delete. Only the store pages are removed; the other website pages stay untouched.
What happens when a customer chooses pickup in store?
The shipping address section disappears from checkout and the pickup location's address becomes the order's shipping address.
