How to create your business website

Go to Sites › Websites, click New Website, start from scratch or from a template, and name it. Then add your pages (Home, Services, Contact), edit them in the builder, connect your domain and publish.

Before you start

  • You need access to Sites in your account.
  • Have your copy, logo and photos ready.
  • For the site to use your own address (e.g. myclinic.com), the domain must be connected in Settings › Domains. You can build and edit the site before that.

Step by step

Create the website

  1. In the left menu, open Sites and click the Websites tab.
  2. Click New Website.
  3. Choose From Blank or From Templates. If you use a template, preview it and pick the one closest to your business.
  4. Enter the website name and click Create.
  5. Open the website you just created.

Add your pages

  1. Open the Pages tab.
  2. Click Add New Page.
  3. Enter the page name (e.g. "Services") and the path (e.g. services). Each path must be unique.
  4. Repeat for every page you need (Home, About, Services, Contact).
  5. To change the order, click and hold a page card and drag it to its new spot. The order saves automatically.

Build, review and publish

  1. On each page, click Edit to open the builder and add text, images, buttons and forms.
  2. Use the desktop and mobile buttons at the top of the builder to check the page looks right on both.
  3. Fill in the page title and description for Google in the page's SEO settings.
  4. Click Save, then Preview to test links, buttons and forms.
  5. In the website's Settings tab, choose the domain and the page that opens by default.
  6. Click Publish to take the site live.

Tips

  • Save doesn't change what visitors see. Only Publish makes your changes live.
  • The website Settings also let you change the favicon (the browser tab icon) and add tracking codes.
  • To undo bigger changes, use Versions in the builder to restore an earlier saved version.

Common problems

  • I can't reorder my pages → If an error appears, the previous order is restored. Refresh your browser and try dragging again.
  • The site shows up without my latest changes → You saved but didn't publish. Open the page in the builder and click Publish.
  • The page path gets numbers added at the end → Another page on the same domain already uses that path. Choose a different path in the page settings.
  • My domain isn't listed when I publish → The domain isn't connected to your account yet. Connect it first in Settings › Domains.

Frequently asked questions

Website or funnel: which should I use?

Use a website for your company's online presence, with a menu and several pages. Use a funnel for a campaign with a set path. A/B split testing is only available in funnels.

Can I add pages without leaving the builder?

Yes. In the builder, open the Pages panel and click Add New Page.
