How to edit several opportunities at once

In Opportunities, tick the checkbox on the cards (or on the rows, in list view), click Edit, choose the fields to change, such as stage, status or owner, and click Save. The change applies to every selected opportunity.

Before you start

  • Your user needs permission to edit opportunities. The actions available depend on your role.
  • Check your selection carefully before saving: not every bulk change is easy to undo.

Step by step

Select on the board

  1. In the left menu, click Opportunities and choose the pipeline at the top.
  2. Hover over a card and tick the checkbox that appears in its top-right corner.
  3. Repeat for the other cards. While you're selecting, you can't drag or open cards.
  4. To select every card on the page, click Select all (it appears when there are more than 20 opportunities on the page).

Select in the list

  1. Switch to list view with the toggle in the top-right corner.
  2. Tick the checkbox for each opportunity you want to change, or the checkbox next to Opportunities at the top to select all of those shown.
  3. To work with opportunities from several pipelines, choose All pipelines in the list at the top.

Apply the change

  1. Click Edit at the top of the screen.
  2. In the bulk edit window, open Opportunity details and choose the field to change: Pipeline, Stage, Status, Value, Owner, Follower, Source, Expected close date, Lost reason and more.
  3. Choose or type the new value.
  4. To change more fields at the same time, add them (for example, pipeline, stage and status together).
  5. Check that the opportunities and values are right and click Save.

Tips

  • Filter before selecting: for example, filter one teammate's opportunities and reassign them all to another owner.
  • To move opportunities to another pipeline, choose the new Pipeline and target Stage in the same edit.
  • List view works best for large volumes; the board is better for picking cards by stage.

Common problems

  • There's no checkbox on the cards → Hover over the card: the checkbox only appears on hover, in the top-right corner.
  • "Select all" didn't pick every opportunity → It only selects the current page. For more records, use list view or repeat page by page.
  • I can't drag or open cards → You're in selection mode. Untick the checkboxes to exit.
  • The Edit button doesn't appear → No opportunity is selected yet, or your user doesn't have permission to edit.
  • I selected the wrong cards → Click the checkbox again to untick it, or deselect all to exit selection.

Frequently asked questions

Can I undo a bulk edit?

Some changes can be reversed (like moving cards back), but there's no undo button. Check your selection before saving.

Can I edit opportunities from several pipelines at once?

Yes, in list view with All pipelines selected.
