How to get Facebook lead form leads into Elooo CRM

With your page connected in Settings › Integrations, open Facebook form field mapping and match each form question to a CRM field. Every new lead comes in as a contact and can start a workflow with the Facebook lead form trigger.

Updated on

Before you start

  • Your Facebook page must be connected in Settings › Integrations.
  • You must be an admin of the page and have lead access permission.
  • The page owner and the ad account owner must be the same, and the page must be connected to that ad account.
  • If you want answers saved to their own fields, create them first in Settings › Custom Fields. Supported types: text, large text, numerical, phone, monetary, single option, date, dropdown, radio options and checkbox.
Where to find it

Settings › Integrations › Facebook Form Field Mapping

Step by step

Map the form fields

  1. Open Settings › Integrations.
  2. Go to Facebook Form Field Mapping.
  3. Choose the page and the lead form.
  4. For each form question (name, email, phone, others), choose the CRM field where the answer should go.
  5. Save. A blue check mark appears next to the form.

Start an automation when a lead arrives

  1. Open Automation › Workflows and create a workflow.
  2. Add the Facebook Lead Form Submitted trigger and choose the page and form.
  3. Add the actions you want (for example, send a welcome message or create an opportunity), then save and publish.

Test it

  1. Open Meta's Lead Ads Testing Tool.
  2. Choose the page and form and submit a test lead with a name, email and phone number that don't already exist in the CRM.
  3. Check that the contact appears in Contacts.

Grant lead access (if leads still don't arrive)

  1. In your Meta business portfolio settings, open Integrations › Leads Access.
  2. Choose the page and click Assign CRMs.
  3. Select the app you authorized when connecting Elooo CRM and click Assign.
  4. If leads still don't come in, use Restore Default Access and test again.

Common problems

  • Leads aren't coming in → Make sure you're a page admin, the form selected in Ads Manager is the one with the blue check in the mapping, and the CRM has lead access (see "Grant lead access").
  • The test lead doesn't show up → Use unique contact details (an email and phone that aren't in the CRM yet) and test again.
  • Some fields are empty → The question isn't mapped to a field, or the custom field is an unsupported type. Review the mapping.
  • Leads suddenly stopped coming in → The connection may have expired, or the admin who set it up lost access to the page. Disconnect and reconnect Facebook in Settings › Integrations.
  • Older leads didn't come in → You chose New Leads Only when connecting. In that case only leads submitted after the connection are brought in.
