How to store several phone numbers and emails on one contact and pick the primary one

On the contact page, click Add Phone Number (up to 11 numbers, each with a label such as Mobile, Work or Home) or Add Another Email (up to 10 extra). Check Primary on the phone, or the star on the email, to set which one Elooo CRM uses by default, then save.

Updated on

Before you start

  • You need permission to edit contacts.
  • Limits: 1 primary phone + 10 additional (11 total) and 1 primary email + 10 additional (11 total).
  • Enter phone numbers with the country code (for example +1…).
Where to find it

Contacts › (open the contact) › left panel › Add Phone Number / Add Another Email

Step by step

Add phone numbers

  1. In the left menu, click Contacts and open the contact (or create a new one).
  2. In the phone numbers section, click Add Phone Number.
  3. Type the number with the country code and pick a label (Mobile, Home, Landline, Work…). Each label can be used only once per contact.
  4. Check Primary on the number that should be used for calls and messages.
  5. Repeat for the other numbers (up to 11) and save.

Add emails

  1. On the contact page, find the email area.
  2. Click Add Another Email and type the address. Repeat for the others (up to 10 additional).
  3. Click the star next to the address that should be primary: that one goes in the standard Email field and is used by campaigns and automations.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Edit or remove

  1. Click a number or email to edit it in place.
  2. Click the trash icon to remove it.
  3. Numbers show in the order they were entered; to reorder, remove them and add them again in the order you want.

Import several phones or emails via CSV

  1. In your file, create an Additional Phone Numbers and/or Additional Emails column, with values separated by commas.
  2. In Contacts › Import, upload the file and, in the mapping, link those columns to the Additional Phone and Additional Email fields.
  3. Finish the import: the values come in as additional, without replacing the primary.

Tips

  • Workflows and bulk sends always use the primary phone and email unless the action says otherwise.
  • If you don't mark any phone as primary, the first one in the list is treated as primary.
  • When merging duplicate contacts, the merge screen shows all emails and lets you pick which stays primary; a merge can't be undone.
  • To see additional email columns in an export, show them first under Manage Fields in the contacts list.

Common problems

  • I can't add another number → You hit the limit of 11. Remove one you no longer use.
  • The label I want is gone → Each label is unique per contact. Pick another label or edit the number that already has it.
  • Messages go to the old number → The old number is still marked primary. Check Primary on the right number and save.
  • The "Find Contact" workflow action doesn't match the additional email → By default it searches the primary email only; in the action, enable matching on additional emails.

Frequently asked questions

Can I store international numbers?

Yes, just include the international code (for example +44 for the UK, +55 for Brazil).

Do additional emails receive campaigns?

No; campaigns and automations use the primary email.
