How to review a contact's activity history (appointments, forms, payments, clicks)
In Contacts, open the contact and, in the right panel, click Activity. Events are grouped by day (Today, Yesterday…); click a card to see the details and the link icon to open the originating page or form.
Updated on
Before you start
- You need access to Contacts and to the contact in question.
- Activity records the contact's events from the moment it was created; earlier interactions don't appear.
- If the activity section looks like the old version, turn on the new one from the contact page (the Activity Section Upgrade option).
Where to find it
Contacts › (open the contact) › right panel › Activity
Step by step
- In the left menu, click Contacts and open the contact.
- In the right panel, click the Activity icon.
- Scroll the list: events are grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, earlier dates), newest first.
- Each card shows the event type, the time, the campaign or source and, when there is one, a link.
- Click a card to see the event details.
- Click the card's link icon to open the associated address (for example the page visited or the form submitted).
Which events appear
- Contact created: when and through which channel.
- Appointments: booked, rescheduled or canceled.
- Forms, surveys and quizzes submitted, including Facebook and LinkedIn lead forms and the chat widget form.
- Payments made through payment forms (one-step or two-step).
- Pages visited and links clicked in emails and messages.
- Calls and changes such as DND being enabled (and by whom).
Tips
- To see only exchanged messages and calls, use the center column of the contact page (the conversation); Activity is the event log.
- If you need to find every contact with a certain activity (for example a form submitted this week), use date filters in a smart list instead of opening contacts one by one.
- On mobile, the same section is available in the app, on the contact's activity tab.
Common problems
- Activity is empty → The contact hasn't had any events recorded since it was created, or the events come from a channel that isn't tracked (for example a conversation outside Elooo CRM).
- The page the contact visited doesn't show → Page tracking depends on the tracking code installed on your site; confirm it's on the site or funnel.
- The card's link doesn't open → The originating form or page was deleted or unpublished. The event stays in the history.
- It looks different from what's described → Turn on the new activity section from the contact page.
Frequently asked questions
Does activity also show opportunities?
The contact page shows events tied to the contact; their deals are in the Opportunities tab of the right panel.
Can I delete an event from the history?
No; activity is an automatic log and can't be edited.
