How to create a website or page with AI Studio from a description

In the left menu, open AI Studio, type what you want to build in the box (e.g. "website for a dental clinic with online booking"), add a reference link or images if you have them, answer the design questions and let the AI generate. Then request changes in plain text, preview and publish.

Updated on

Before you start

  • You need the View & Manage AI Studio permission (View AI Studio is read-only).
  • Have handy: what your business does, the page's goal (book, sell, capture leads), your logo and photos if you want them used, and a reference website or screenshot if you have one.
Where to find it

Left menu › AI Studio

Step by step

Start the project

  1. In the left menu, click AI Studio.
  2. In the description box, type what you want, in detail: "Create a website for a dental clinic in Austin with services, team, testimonials and online booking sections".
  3. Optionally, add supporting inputs: brand images, a screenshot, or a link to a site whose structure or style you like ("use this link as inspiration for the navigation").
  4. Alternatively, open the Templates tab and start from a template (landing page, dashboard, storefront, portfolio).
  5. Send it. If the request is broad, the AI asks design questions (color palette, typography, layout, conversion goal). Answer them, skip any you like, or click Skip all.

Refine the result

  1. Review the first version and keep requesting changes in plain text: "change the colors to light green", "add a Contact page", "add a testimonials section like the attached screenshot".
  2. For small touch-ups, use visual edits: click an element in the live preview and change text, image, icon, spacing or color without writing code.
  3. If the AI generated images and you want your own, upload them and explicitly ask it to use them.

Review and publish

  1. Use the preview to check the look and copy.
  2. If a change went wrong, use version history to restore an earlier version.
  3. Connect your account's forms and calendars to the contact and booking sections.
  4. Publish and, if you like, connect your domain.

Tips

  • The more concrete the description (audience, services, tone, goal), the better the first version.
  • AI Studio isn't just for websites: it also builds multi-step surveys, booking flows and branded forms.
  • Organize projects in folders and star the ones you use most; you can also clone a project to make variations.

Common problems

  • I don't see AI Studio in the menu → You're missing the permission. Ask an admin to enable View & Manage AI Studio on your user.
  • The AI used generic images instead of mine → Upload your images and say clearly "use the attached images in the hero section".
  • The page turned out different from what I wanted → Ask for one change at a time and give references (link or screenshot). If it got worse, restore the previous version from history.
  • The colors don't match my brand → Name the tones ("dark blue and gold") or pick them in the design questions.
