How to call other countries (international calling permissions)
For security, each account can only call approved countries: the US and Canada, your business's home country and the countries of any numbers you bought. To call elsewhere, ask Elooo CRM support, listing the countries to enable, that it's for voice calls, and why. SMS permission is requested separately.

Before you start
- Confirm the country and international dialing code of the number you want to call (e.g. +52 for Mexico, +44 for the UK).
- Know which country your business is registered in (Settings › Business Profile) and which countries your numbers belong to.
- Have a short justification ready: why you need to call that country.
Where to find it
Elooo CRM support chat (help icon) › request voice calling permission for a country
Step by step
Know what's already enabled
- By default, your account can call:
- the United States and Canada, always;
- the country where your business is registered in the profile;
- the country of each phone number purchased in the account.
- Every other destination is blocked until approved. This prevents someone who gets into your account from running up expensive international calls.
- A country appearing in the rate list doesn't mean it's enabled: pricing and permission are separate things.
Request permission
- Open the Elooo CRM support chat.
- Give your account name and ask to enable voice calling to the countries you need (list them).
- Say whether you're enabling or disabling countries.
- Add a sentence with the reason (e.g. "we have customers in Mexico and Spain").
- If you also need to text those countries, ask for it separately: voice and SMS permissions are independent.
- Wait for support to confirm. Once enabled, wait 5 to 10 minutes before trying the call again.
Test
- In the dialer, enter the full number with the international code (e.g. +52 55 0000 0000).
- If it connects, you're done. If you get a geographic restriction error, see the common problems below.
Tips
- Only request the countries you actually need. The more destinations open, the bigger the damage if the account is compromised.
- Buying a number in another country automatically enables calls to that country.
- For customers abroad to see a local number, buy a number in that country and select it under Call from in the dialer.
Common problems
- The call fails with a geographic restriction error → The country isn't enabled. Ask support to enable it, with your account name and the country.
- I requested it and it still fails → Allow 5 to 10 minutes for the change to propagate. Also check you dialed the right country code and the full number.
- I can call some countries but not others → Permissions are per country. Request the ones that are missing.
- Calling works but texts to that country aren't delivered → SMS permission is separate from voice. Ask support for it.
- A coworker can call and I can't → If you're on the same account, the permission is the same; check the number format or any warning in the dialer.
Frequently asked questions
Can I enable countries myself in the settings?
No. Voice geographic permissions are changed by the Elooo CRM team on request, after a review.
How much does it cost to call another country?
It depends on the destination. Elooo CRM support will tell you the rate for the country before enabling it.
