How to create a custom product page

Go to Sites › Store › (open the store) › Add New Page, turn on Custom Product Details Page and pick the products. The page starts as a copy of the default product page; edit it, save and publish. Clicks on those products will open the new page.

Updated on

Before you start

  • You need access to Sites in your account.
  • Have at least one product created in Payments › Products and included in the store.
  • Check which store or site you're working on, if you have more than one.
Where to find it

Sites › Store › (open the store) › Add New Page › Custom Product Details Page

Step by step

Create the page and assign products

  1. Open Sites › Store and open the store.
  2. Click Add New Page.
  3. Turn on Custom Product Details Page.
  4. In the window, search for and select the product or products that will use this page.
  5. The new page is created as a copy of the default product page (sections, store elements, styling and visibility rules). It's a one-time copy: later changes to the default page don't carry over.

Design the page

  1. Edit the page in the builder: change images, text and calls to action, and add product-page elements (images, video, features, reviews, related products).
  2. In the Product Details element, adjust the desktop media width and position and the image layout.
  3. Keep the Add to Cart / Buy Now buttons above the fold and repeat them on long pages.
  4. Click Save, then Publish.

Change the assigned products later

  1. Open the custom page in the builder.
  2. Select the product element or the page settings and, in the Settings panel, update the assigned products.
  3. Save and publish. A product can only be on one custom page at a time: assigning it to a new page automatically removes it from the previous one.

Tips

  • Clicks from the product list, featured sections and direct links always open the right page: the custom one if it exists, otherwise the default.
  • Use the elements' Text Customization to translate or adapt labels and messages.
  • Reuse blocks across product pages to keep a consistent look.

Common problems

  • I can't find the custom page option → Make sure you're adding the page inside a store in Sites › Store, not in a funnel.
  • I changed the default page and the custom one didn't change → That's expected: the copy happens once, at creation. Repeat the change on the custom page.
  • The product opens the old page → Check the assignment in the custom page's settings, save and publish.
  • I deleted the custom page → Its products automatically go back to the default product page. Nothing stops opening.

Frequently asked questions

Does the custom page have its own address?

Yes, it has its own URL. When a product is assigned, anyone reaching the product from the list, featured sections or a link is routed to the custom page.
