How to import lessons from another course (or another platform)
In the destination course, click + Add Content › Import from another course, pick the source course and select lessons, modules or the whole course. Content is copied, not linked, and can be edited freely. To bring courses over from Kajabi, use Products › Create Product › Import.
Updated on
Before you start
- The destination course must already exist in Memberships › Courses › Products.
- Know which course is the source and which parts you want to reuse (one lesson, a module, everything).
- To import from Kajabi, you need a learner login to your Kajabi account (email, password and login domain).
Memberships › Courses › Products › (open the destination course) › + Add Content › Import from another course
Step by step
Import from another course in your account
- Open Memberships › Courses › Products and click the destination course.
- In the editor, click + Add Content and choose Import from another course.
- In the dialog, search or browse to the source course and click Select.
- Tick what you want to bring over: individual lessons, modules, submodules or the full structure.
- Click Import selected items or Import entire course.
- The import runs in the background; you can keep working. When it finishes, review the imported content in the destination course: lesson order, videos, thumbnails, descriptions, quizzes, assignments and resources.
What gets copied: lesson titles and structure, module and submodule hierarchy, videos and attached media, thumbnails, formatted descriptions, quiz questions, assignments and resources.
Import courses from Kajabi
- In your Kajabi account, create a new contact with a learner profile (used only for the import).
- In Elooo System, open Products › Create Product › Import.
- Enter that learner's email and password and the domain where learners sign in (the address should open the login page at
/login). - Click Import. Progress shows on screen; click Refresh to see the real status. You can switch tabs, but don't close the window.
- When done, the courses appear under Products and the import section shows the date of the last import.
Tips
- Imported content is a copy: later changes in the original course don't flow into the copy, and vice versa.
- Importing never deletes or overwrites what's already in the destination course; new items are added alongside the existing ones.
- From Kajabi only published lessons come over, with videos, images and text; quizzes, assignments and assessments aren't imported and must be rebuilt.
- Run the Kajabi import outside your learners' peak hours and back up your themes before starting.
Common problems
- Authentication error on the Kajabi import → The email, password or domain is wrong. Check the learner profile details and try again.
- The Kajabi import failed → Check the selected theme, the credentials, and that the domain opens the login page. Click Retry to resume where it stopped; if you cancel, the next import starts from scratch.
- Lessons are missing from the Kajabi import → Lessons hidden behind "Show More" sections or subcategories may not have come through in an older import. Run the import again to pick up more published content.
- I imported and now the course has duplicate lessons → You imported the same items twice. Delete the extra copies in the course map.
Frequently asked questions
