Brand kit

How to create your brand board (logos, colors and fonts) and use it in emails, funnels and websites

Under Marketing › Brand Boards, click Add a Design Kit, start from blank, a template or your website URL, upload your logos, add 2 to 10 colors and 1 to 5 fonts. Set it as default: the colors and fonts then show up in the pickers of the email editor and the page builder.

Updated on

Before you start

  • Have your primary and secondary logos (image files) and your color codes (HEX or RGB).
  • Know which fonts your brand uses.
  • Alternatively, have your website URL ready to import the brand automatically.
Where to find it

Marketing › Brand Boards › Add a Design Kit

Step by step

Create the kit

  1. In the left menu, open Marketing and click Brand Boards.
  2. Click Add a Design Kit.
  3. Choose how to start: Start from Blank, Select a Template or Website URL import (paste your website or landing page URL and click Import Brand Kit; the system detects logos, colors and fonts).
  4. On the Logos tab, upload your primary and secondary logos.
  5. On the Colors tab, add your colors with the HEX/RGB picker and name them (e.g. "Primary blue"). Minimum 2, maximum 10.
  6. On the Typography tab, pick 1 to 5 fonts from the dropdowns.
  7. Save. For it to appear in the editors, open the kit's three-dot menu and choose Set as Default (only one kit can be default at a time).

Use it in emails

  1. Open Marketing › Emails, create or edit a template or campaign and use the design editor.
  2. Select a text, section or button, open the color picker and choose from Brand Colors.
  3. Select a text, open the font dropdown and choose from Brand Fonts.
  4. For the logo, add an image element, choose Media Library and open the folder named after the kit.

Use it in funnels and websites

  1. Open Sites › Funnels or Websites and edit the page.
  2. Click the element, open a color swatch in the right sidebar (or in the text toolbar): the kit's colors appear in the first row of the picker.
  3. Click a color to apply it. Check on the Design tab that the kit is applied to the page.

Tips

  • The kit's logos are stored in a folder named after the kit in media storage.
  • The kit's colors also appear in the color pickers of countdown timers, forms, surveys and quizzes.
  • To edit the kit later, use the three-dot menu › Edit; to delete it, Delete (this can't be undone).

Common problems

  • Colors and fonts don't show in the email editor → Only the default kit appears in the pickers. Under Brand Boards, set the right kit as default.
  • Colors don't show in the page builder → Besides being default, the kit must be applied to the page: open the page's Design tab and select the kit.
  • I changed a color in the kit but old emails look the same → That's expected: the kit only feeds the pickers; it doesn't change designs already made. Edit each email or page if you want to update them.
  • The website import didn't bring everything → The import detects what it can from the page you gave. Fill in whatever's missing by hand on the logos, colors and typography tabs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have several kits?

Yes, as many as you like; but only one can be default at a time. Switch the default to see another kit in the editors.

What happens if I delete a kit?

Colors already applied on pages stay; the kit just stops appearing in the pickers.
