Before you start
- You need access to Sites in your account.
- Decide what information you want to collect. Short forms (name, phone, email and one question) usually get more submissions.
- To store something specific to your business (e.g. "Treatment of interest"), you can create the custom field right from the form builder.
Where to find it
Sites › Forms › Create Form
Step by step
Create and build the form
- In the left menu, open Sites and click the Forms tab.
- Click Create Form.
- Choose From Blank or start from a template in the library.
- Name the form (internal only, e.g. "Contact – Website").
- In the left panel, under Quick Add, drag in the fields you want: Name, Email, Phone, Message…
- For a business-specific field, use custom fields and choose the type (dropdown, checkboxes, date, number, file upload, text).
- Drag the fields into the right order.
- Click a field and, in the settings on the right, turn on Required for the must-have fields.
Set up the look and behavior
- Click Styles & Options to change colors, spacing and buttons, or apply a ready-made Theme.
- Under Notifications, turn on Email Notification and enter the team email that should be alerted on every submission.
- If you like, turn on Auto Responder to send a confirmation email to the person who submitted.
- In the submit settings, choose what happens after submitting: show a thank-you message or redirect to a page (e.g. your thank-you page).
Save and test
- Click Save.
- Preview the form and submit it with test details.
- Check that the thank-you message or redirect appears.
- Open the form's Submissions tab and check your test entry is there.
- To use it, click Integrate and copy the direct link or the code for your website.
Tips
- Every new person who submits the form automatically becomes a contact in Elooo CRM.
- To kick off follow-ups automatically (message, task, opportunity), create a workflow with the form submitted trigger.
- To cut down on fake submissions, turn on email or phone validation and CAPTCHA in the form settings.
Common problems
- I'm not getting the alert email → In Notifications, check the alert is on and the email is spelled correctly. Also check your spam folder.
- The form doesn't save a field's answer → The field must be linked to a contact field. Use a Quick Add field or a custom field, not a loose text block.
- I'm getting lots of fake (spam) submissions → Turn on CAPTCHA and email/phone validation in the form settings.
- Changes don't show on my website → Click Save on the form. If it's embedded with popup or trigger options you changed, copy the code again.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the same form on several pages?
Yes. In the page builder, choose the existing form in the Form element. You can also share the direct link.
Can I show different fields depending on the answer?
Yes, with conditional logic: show or hide fields, display a message or redirect based on the answers.
